An essential part of being confident in the
mountains is a good sense of orientation. This course is designed to
provide a solid base in navigation techniques and familiarization with the
tools designed to assist in this art.

This course does not necessarily take place in
the mountains as the techniques can be learned and practiced in most rural
environments. (Location and time will be dependent on participants; five
minimum)
