Craig Ellis is a fully certified
UIAGM/ACMG mountain guide and a professional member of the Canadian
Avalanche Association. A resident of Revelstoke, British Columbia, he
spends his life immersed in the mountains. Having grown up skiing at Tod
Mountain (Sun Peaks) near Kamloops, B.C. it was a natural progression to
guiding cat skiing and ski touring in the eighties and heli-skiing for
most of the nineties. The last few years Craig has been guiding worldwide.
Two seasons of alpine guiding in New Zealand in the Mt Cook region and two
seasons in the European Alps have provided an international perspective on
mountaineering and an increased appreciation of what western Canada has to
offer; few people and classic mountaineering objectives. The desire to
share the potential of his home ranges has prompted Craig to form his own
business to explore these regions with visitors from Canada and around the
world. |
